Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026
Introduction
Cuvvar is a UK-based FCA regulated car insurance intermediary providing access to temporary car insurance, short term motor insurance, and specialist vehicle insurance solutions across the United Kingdom.
By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions which govern your use of our car insurance quote platform and insurance intermediary services.
Insurance services
We act as an insurance intermediary and not an insurer. We facilitate access to UK motor insurance policies through authorised and regulated insurance providers.
We work with trusted underwriting partners including:
- Haven Insurance (Acorn Group)
- Insurix Insurance UK
- QBE Insurance
These partners provide underwriting and policy issuance for our temporary car insurance and related motor insurance products.
Eligibility and user responsibilities
To obtain a car insurance quote in the UK, you must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. This includes personal details, driving history, and vehicle information.
You agree that any misrepresentation, omission, or fraudulent information may result in:
- Rejection of your insurance application
- Cancellation of an existing policy
- Claims being refused by insurers
- Potential reporting to fraud prevention databases
Quotes and policy formation
All insurance quotes provided through Cuvvar are subject to acceptance by the insurer. A quote does not guarantee coverage until the insurer confirms and issues a policy.
Temporary car insurance policies are only valid once payment has been successfully processed and policy documents have been issued.
Payments
Payments for car insurance policies are securely processed via Stripe and other authorised payment providers. We do not store full card details on our servers.
All payments must be completed in full before insurance cover becomes active.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the insurer’s terms and conditions. As an intermediary, Cuvvar facilitates but does not determine refund decisions made by underwriting insurers.
Regulation and compliance
Cuvvar operates as a regulated insurance intermediary in compliance with:
- Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements
- UK insurance distribution regulations
- UK GDPR data protection laws
We are committed to providing transparent, compliant, and secure access to UK motor insurance products.
Limitation of liability
Cuvvar is not responsible for decisions made by insurers regarding acceptance, pricing, underwriting, or claims outcomes. All insurance policies are subject to insurer approval and policy terms.
Use of website
You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the operation of our insurance quote system or temporary car insurance services.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, or our car insurance services. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
